Campaign Chairs Message

Track and Field - Pole VaultIt is no mistake the theme chosen for our Capital Campaign is Our Children, Our Community, Our Future.  We selected these words carefully to reflect the components necessary for our success and the beneficiaries of our endeavors.  Initiatives funded by the Campaign will benefit us all and the community where we work and live.

Our Children:
The most immediate beneficiaries are the current and future students of the District.  Whether these students participate in band, athletics, or physical education classes, everyone will benefit.  Younger children will use the facilities in community sports programs before entering high school.  It will be a source of pride for our children to have facilities which are comparable to other local districts.

Our Community:
Everyone in the community will benefit from the Campaign: students, parents, alumni, senior citizens, and businesses, among others.  District facilities are often utilized as an unofficial community center and a gathering place for the community.  Upgraded facilities will allow more community access, improve the safety and convenience of users, and enhance the health and wellness of everyone in the District

Our Future:
A strong school district is a strong community.  By upgrading our facilities, we set the stage for the future of our students and residents.  Many new opportunities and resources will be available for the growth and improvement of our entire community.  In addition, the Campaign shows our children that we are good stewards for the future.  They will be able to pass this important lesson on to future generations.

Nearly everyone in our community is aware of the condition of the athletic facilities and the need for the Campaign.  We have already made significant progress with the installation of a new synthetic track and the renovation of the pool locker rooms; however, we do not want to stop there.  Now is the time for our community to step forward and provide the resources our students and residents need to see the project completed.

This brochure will familiarize you with the background, history, reasons, and initiatives of the project.  As Chairs of the Capital Campaign, we hope you join us as we work toward these important goals for Our Children, Our Community, Our Future.

Thank you,
